Dear Solidarity Friends.
I introduce myself, I'm Seve.
And with your permission I write these sincere words that come out of my heart.
I am a normal person who suffers from a disease. It's called Leukemia.
Where with the help of science, doctors and our beloved public health, I can write these words. Thank you.
My story begins 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with this disease, in which it completely changes your life and you have to leave your daily life that you forge since you are born.
To face this new life full of unknowns to discover, you are subjected to very exhaustive controls that completely limit you to a normal daily life that will be maintained all my life.
More than a year ago I was transplanted to bone marrow at the Public University Hospital of Salamanca. Where they have treated me and they treat us wonderfully like real kings.
From here I want to thank you. Thank you for the good work you do with us, of which I am very proud of them. Thank you all for your interest, effort, dedication, work and patience that each of them have with us, and endless other things to thank all of them. Without forgetting the people and doctors who also take care of me and take care of me in the public hospitals of Segovia and Valladolid. Thanks to all of them.
Explaining all this, I can't find a nicer way to thank and at the same time try to help people like me who are suffering from this disease.
This solidarity project came to my mind in an unexpected and altruistic way, of which I am very proud of and, I think it is the most beautiful thing that can be done in this life, to help your neighbor.
Taking photos with my cell phone on the small walks near my house in Segovia, trying to help the people who previously helped me and were and are by my side throughout this process of the disease, giving me affection, company and being attentive and not missing anything in the long stays of the hospital and outside of them.
Where they offer you a free house for you and your relatives since by medical prescription, it is mandatory to be near the hospital after the bone marrow transplant. Although all people and families need a house, they do not have the possibility of acquiring a home for each transplanted person since we come from different, very diverse and distant places. There are Entities that offer patients who are going to be transplanted all this for free.
Where the good work of these associations is demonstrated as the people who have made it possible for this solidarity project to be done, and I refer to this test. Demonstrating in this very laudatory act that there are good people and entities that are worth it in this life.
With these words I have tried to express my feelings and explain this solidarity project channeled through this solidarity action "Walking Through Life."
With the donation of the solidarity cadres that you can make, the entities will be helped to continue working and helping the people who need it and need it.
Thank you in advance.
Thanks to all the people and collaborating entities that have made this project possible.
Without them, their work, effort, dedication, and a lot of understanding and patience towards me, this would not have been possible. Thank you.
And above all to you for your generosity and thanking you for your time and understanding towards this solidarity project. I say goodbye to you. Thank You Very Much.
Sincerely Seve.
